Quick and Easy Fruit Dip

fruit dip

I finally tried the fruit dip that so many have told me is a great alternative to the Cool Whip that I used on my Fruit Pizza!  I will admit, I still love Cool Whip the most it will always be my first love, but this dip was delicious too!  I think this dip has been around for years and years; however, I’ve have just lived under my Cool Whip cliff.

My husband ate this up with several varieties of fruit.  We also made fruit kabobs which are great to make with kids.  My 3 year old loved putting the fruit on the sticks and dipping them into the dip.  Just be sure the skewers are child safe, most likely wooden may work best.

This dip is simply cream cheese and marshmallow creme.  My mom loves to make this dip with flavored cream cheese such as blueberry to give it a fruity taste another idea is to use orange zest in it.

There is really no need for a recipe on this one, plus I’m certain you can find it all over the web; however, for those that use Ziplist as the grocery list, I’m putting it in that format for you.

Enjoy this summer treat!

Another add in is an 8oz tub of cool whip. I’ve always made it with the cool whip and everyone loves it. :)

Oh, and I’ve found that the whipped cream cheese mixes up easier and creamier.

My sister has made something like this for fruit dip and I love it. I’ve made it a time or two but not often enough to remember what it has in it other than marshmallow creme. (I never remember recipes; have to look them up EVERY time!)

Your blog is adorable. Love the colors; looks so fresh & clean. And the title & tagline are fabulous. I feel the same way about it but haven’t tackled it quite the way you have. I’ll have to check out more of your recipes & such since it looks like you’ve done my homework for me. :)

Thanks again for commenting on my blog so I could find you!

I’ve heard to add vanilla too, but I prefer it this way! Delish! Hard to keep the kids away! =)
