Valentine’s Day Chicken and Rice

chicken and rice

For our first Valentine’s Day as boyfriend and girlfriend many years ago, my now husband made us Chicken and Rice with a candlelight dinner.  I thought being Valentine’s Day, I’d share the recipe for Chicken and Rice.

He made Chicken and Rice since at the time that was my favorite homemade dinner.  It’s funny to me now because after cooking so much, I still do enjoy it, but it seems so bland.  I like to add a little bit of flavor to give it more taste.

To give it more taste, I would add in some seasonings like paprika, lemon pepper, or even a bit of garlic.  I prefer the chicken to be a bit flavored.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d without a doubt donate to this fantastic blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS
feed to my Google account. I look forward to brand new updates
and will talk about this website with my Facebook group.

This looks amazing! As a new cooker, I have a couple of questions. Should I mix the broth, soup, and rice up before I pour it on? Also, do I need to cover it with foil?
