I love pasta dishes, which my body does not always love; however, I thought I would mix it up a bit and make a dish that I have not made at home yet.
My husband loves shrimp and recently I found precooked shrimp on sale at my local Aldi, and I knew the perfect dish to make with it, Shrimp Linguine.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb Linguine Pasta Noodles
- 1 Serving White Sauce
- Cooked Shrimp
Directions:
Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package in a large stock pot, drain and sit aside.
Then, make the white sauce. I used my basic white sauce for this dish; however, you can use any white sauce or Alfredo sauce of your choice. I secretly love Ragu Alfredo Sauce, but I try to use it only occasionally as my waist line does not like it as much and neither does my lactose issues for that matter!
Once you have finished fixing the white sauce, pour the noodles back into the stock pot and mix with the white sauce. Add the garlic salt until your taste buds are satisfied.

The shrimp can be mixed in with the pasta or served on top. I chose the served on top method as I do not care for shrimp. What did I do instead? I added chicken to mine. This is a great dish that is versatile and makes for a quick and easy dinner!
