Picky Eaters: Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
I went shopping recently and purchased a heart shaped muffin tin, and could not wait to try it out! As soon as I got home, I started thinking of what I could make using it and decided on Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins.
These muffins are a perfect snack alternative for picky eaters. Many picky eaters reach for the chips or candy first before the fruits and veggies, or at least that’s how it is in my family. These muffins pack in banana’s with a hint of sweetness in the chocolate chips. This gives the perfect combination!
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Mashed Banana
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 375*.
Begin by mixing the milk, egg, and vanilla then slowly stir in all remaining ingredients until mixed well.
Spray the muffin pans with non stick cooking spray and add a tablespoonful of the batter to each. This recipe made 1 1/2 dozen muffins for us.
Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the muffin comes out clean.
