When I was pregnant with my son and had gestational diabetes, I was no longer allowed to eat bread. I did find one type of bread I could eat, but I could only have 1 slice! Shortly after having my son sandwich thins hit the shelves at our local grocery store. This is a blessing for those like me who had to eat low carbohydrates, plus they are delicious!
Using the sandwich thins, sliced tomato, lettuce, and turkey bacon I can create a healthy BLT! I top mine with fat free miracle whip, and lunch is served!
This is a low fat dish that is perfect for all those dieting New Year’s Resolutions!
