I will admit that up until I started my cooking adventures, I had never even heard of a Tostada. Once I realized what they were, I thought I should have made those a long time ago! Plus, with our love of Mexican dishes, how did I not know about these? Oh wait, I know, we had the same 3-4 Mexican dishes on a regular basis. Yes, I’ll admit I used to be in a cooking rut, but now I have a feeling I will never be that way again!
Ingredients:
- 2 Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
- Toppings (Cheese, Black Beans, Lettuce, Salsa, Corn, Tomatoes)
- 8 Flour Tortilla’s
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*.
Spray the tortillas with butter cooking spray and then place on cookie sheets. Bake these in the oven for 10 minutes or until crispy.
While these are baking, place the chicken in a skillet and add the chili powder then cook until well done. Once it is done and cooled, shred the chicken.
When the tortilla’s and chicken are done, you will want to top the tortilla’s with your favorite toppings. If your family is anything like mine, these will be gone instantly!
Enjoy!
