This recipe comes from my mom and it turns up at our family functions often!
Mom’s Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
- 8 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Fat Free Miracle Whip
- Paprika
Directions:
Cut the eggs in half, and place the egg white on a plate. Then, scoop the yolk out and put in a bowl mixing these with the Miracle Whip. Spoon the a small amount of the mixture into each egg and top with a little Paprika.

That is how my inlaws make them, but in my family we have always added a bit of vinegar and yellow mustard. I tell my mother in law…what is “devilish” about them? Gotta add the vinegar to devil them up! lol
That’s very true!! I’m not sure I’ve had them with vinegar, going to try that next time.
Mmmm…so good with that little “tang”. My mom adds minced onion too, but I don’t like onion.
OOOH, i do mine with vinegar and a little yellow mustard. gotta have the miracle whip with it or its not good (at least to me!). i then go through my spice cabinet and add whatever yells at me at the moment and always a dash of worshishire sause too!
haha…that’s what I do in my spice cabinet too! I look for something to ‘speak to me’!!
