I started out making cookies with Mint Truffle Hershey Kisses; however, those did not turn out as planned. As I dumped the rest of the kisses into a candy dish, I saw this recipe on the back of the bag. It seemed so easy and good that I could not resist but to try it out.
This recipe comes from Hershey’s and can be found on the back of the Mint Truffle Hershey Kisses; however, it can easily be used for all varieties of Hershey Kisses, next time I’m going to try it with the Caramel Kisses.ngredients:
Ingredients:
- 48 Hershey’s Kisses
- 2/3 Cup Butter
- 1 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Hershey’s Cocoa
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
- Powdered Sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*, and then line the muffin tins. Next, beat the butter, sugar, water, and vanilla until blended. Then, you will add in the sugar. I made these into small balls and put into each muffin tin. These will bake in the oven for about 12 minutes. I then placed an unwrapped Hershey kiss in the middle of each muffin and sprinkled with the powdered sugar.
Be sure to let these cool completely.
I actually cut this recipe in 1/2 because I did not want to make 4 dozen. I did find that these are better if eaten within a few hours of making them, the next day they seemed very hard. I will be making these again though, they make a great dessert dish!
