In hopes of creating pancakes that remind me of the Christmas season, I came up with Ginger Pancakes. These are a delicious way to celebrate Christmas breakfast with your family.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Baking Mix
- 1 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 Tsp Ginger
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Applesauce
Directions:
Mix milk, egg, vanilla, applesauce, cinnamon and ginger, whisk in the baking mix. In a greased skillet, turn it on to medium heat. Then, pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet. This will cook until it starts to bubble, then flip over. Continue cooking until all batter has been used, this made 8 pancakes. It will vary though based on size.
Sprinkle with snow, confectioner’s sugar, and caramel sauce. Enjoy this holiday treat!

These look amazing! And the applesauce must have made them super moist.
It did, they were great!
Thanks for sharing your recipe. We love pancakes and so I’ll have to try making them. Also your header is perfect and very unique (to answer your Savvy Blogging question)
