Picky Eaters: Spinach Smoothie

After we found out my son was anemic, we immediately had to find ways to get more leafy, green veggies into his diet.  This would be all the veggies he does not like!!  Just before we found out about the anemia, I posted a recipe for Dairy Free Blueberry Smoothie.  I used the reader’s suggestions and created this smoothie.

I added 1/2 Cup Frozen Spinach and 1/2 a Frozen Banana to the Dairy Free Blueberry Smoothie.  My son loves this and drinks it with no problem!  This is the perfect way to get veggies and fruits into your picky toddler’s diet!

  1. we make spinach smoothies all of the time, granted the idea of it scared me until I tried it. Hubby is the more adventurous one around here.

We put mangoes, spinach, turbinado sugar, and sometimes mixed berries and water
