One of my favorite soups is Taco Soup. I also happen to make it using one of the easiest recipes and very tasty!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Taco Seasoning Packet
- 1 15oz Can of Black Beans
- 1 14.5oz Can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 14.5oz Can of Beef Broth
- 2 Cups Frozen Corn
- 1 Cup of Water
- Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Directions:
In a skillet brown the meat and add in the taco seasoning as instructed on the package.
Once the meat is browned, add the meat and all ingredients to the slow cooker. This will cook on low for 6 hours

I LOVE the name of your blog!! My mother was a consummate cook – she LOVED being in the kitchen, being a homemaker. I simply did not inherit that gene. But, there are dishes I enjoy cooking, especially if they’re easy and full of flavor. This looks like it could be one of them.
What if you cook it on high, would it be 3 hours? I want to make this but have 3-4 hours for cooking.. how would i do it?
I would say if you do high it would be 1/2 the time, you’d probably want to keep a closer eye on it. However, since your meat will already be cooked then it shouldn’t be a problem.
