This was the 1st time I have tried tilapia cooked in the skillet. It turned out fantastic!
Ingredients:
- 4 6oz Tilapia Fillets
- 2 Tbsp of Garlic Powder (1 Tsp per fillet)
- 2 Tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
- Asparagus:
- 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp of Garlic Powder
Directions:
I cooked the asparagus first in the skillet with olive oil and then sprinkled the garlic powder over the asparagus. This cooked in the skillet for about 10 minutes.
Once the asparagus finished, I started on the tilapia. I poured the oil and lemon juice in the skillet then sprinkled the garlic powder over each fillet and began to cook. It only took me about 5 minutes on each side for the fish to fully cook. It will be easily flaked with a fork when it is fully cooked.
To add with this meal, I also cooked 1 cup of brown rice. I ended up mixing in some cream of mushroom soup to make it more creamy.
This meal took only about 30 minutes to prepare and cook, and it may actually be my favorite way to fix fish! Get money saving coupons before you go to the store!
