Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkins may just be the best produce around! All the goodies that can be created using pumpkin, plus the roasted seeds! Incredible!

I look forward to carving our pumpkin every year and anticipate roasting pumpkin seeds.  My husband does the carving and as you can tell from the crooked smile, we may have some work to do!

To roast the seeds, I spray a cookie sheet with non stick butter flavored cooking spray. Then I place the seeds out on the sheet so that they are not on top of each other. I spray more spray on top of the seeds to coat them. Lastly, I pour on the salt! The amount of salt will depend on how many seeds you have and your preference.

I put these in the oven on 375* for 15 minutes or until they are nice and brown.

These usually only last a day around our house!
