A few weeks ago, I was able to get chicken drumsticks for $1.49 for 8, so they have been patiently waiting in the freezer for me to cook them!
Today, I decided to try them with a lemon pepper twist.
- 8 Chicken Drumsticks, thawed
- 4 Tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp of Lemon Pepper
Preheat the oven to 400*.
In a foil lined baking dish, put the drumsticks in then pour about 1/2 Tbsp of lemon juice on each one. Then, sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of lemon pepper. Turn the chicken over and sprinkle the remaining lemon pepper.
I cooked these for 1 hour in the oven, after 30 minutes of cook time, I turned each drumstick over.
As sides for this meal I used myÂ cornbread okra recipe and sweet corn.
