Cornbread Okra

This is my favorite way to make okra.  It is not truly fried, so it may not be liked by all, but it is LOVED by me!  I am not really into fried foods, so this is a fabulous alternative to me.  It also helps that I grew up on okra made this way.

In the end it will not be fried and the breading doesn’t stick perfectly to every piece of okra, but it adds a nice texture and flavor to the okra.

      I LOVE fried okra too, it’s one fried food I could probably eat all the time. This is a good alternative for it, but every now and then I still give in to the real thing! :)
